RackMap
Track every server, service, and certificate you own. Watch live CPU, memory, disk, network, and GPU metrics over plain SSH. Edit crontabs, run runbooks across the fleet, manage Linux accounts and systemd units, catch configuration drift, and keep a complete audit trail — without installing a single agent on a target host.

Overview
RackMap is an agentless server management and infrastructure observability platform. It allows engineering teams to track, monitor, and automate server fleets over plain SSH without installing daemons on target hosts.
Core Architecture
- Runtime & API: Node.js 24 running Hono REST framework and WebSocket SSH tunneling.
- Frontend: React 19 SPA powered by Vite, TanStack Router, TanStack Query, and Tailwind CSS.
- Database & Auth: PostgreSQL 18 with Prisma ORM and Better Auth role-based access control.
- Hardware Telemetry: Direct kernel sysfs and procfs reading for CPU, RAM, disk, and network I/O.
- Multi-Vendor GPU Support: Real-time stats across NVIDIA CUDA, AMD ROCm/sysfs, and Intel XPU.
Security & Governance
- Zero Host Daemons: Everything executes via single-command SSH probes with ephemeral credentials.
- AES-256-GCM Vault: Server credentials encrypted at rest with envelope encryption and PBKDF2.
- Complete Audit Trail: Every privilege escalation, root command, and cron modification is cryptographically logged.
